Our Leadership:
Dr. Allen Mutono, our founder and chief executive officer, is a renowned thought leader and innovator in the fields of technology and Industry 4.0 transformation. Dr. Mutono is widely recognised for his significant contributions to technological development, innovation management, skill enhancement, and tech entrepreneurship over the course of his 27-year career.
Dr. Mutono holds a Doctorate in Technology and Innovation. His ground-breaking thesis, "A Framework for Mobile Learning Implementation in South Africa," serves as the basis for his significant contributions to the field. In addition, he possesses a bachelor's degree in sociology and a master of science degree in technology and innovation.
His consulting experience includes government institutions in South Africa, including the Independent Communications Commission of South Africa, MICT SETA, and the South African National AIDS Council, mining firms, local government agencies, and a number of private companies. His unique combination of skills, knowledge, and experience has enabled him to successfully lead numerous technology-driven initiatives, resulting in increased productivity and sustainability in the organisations he has served.
Dr. Mutono's significant involvement in evaluating South Africa's National Robotics and Programming Curriculum for the Department of Basic Education in 2021 demonstrates his significance in terms of technological innovation and entrepreneurial development. His extensive publication record further demonstrates his in-depth comprehension of technology adoption challenges and potential African solutions.
As a member of numerous professional organisations, Dr. Mutono continues to make significant contributions to the field. In 2015, he was designated a TT100 finalist for the Science and Technology Minister's award for technological excellence in recognition of his accomplishments.
